The Archivist's Estate is built around a collection of books, vinyl records, and sheet music — one whose story isn't fully understood yet. Some pieces point toward one origin; others complicate it. Before anything is shared or offered more widely, each item is being carefully inventoried, catalogued, and traced, piece by piece, in an effort to figure out what this collection actually is. Alongside that work, the collection is also becoming a source for original digital pieces — scans, puzzles, prints, and other work made directly from what's found within it, never pulled from the internet. As the investigation into the collection's history unfolds, select physical items will find new homes, and what's uncovered along the way will be shared as its own ongoing story.
